My Story

Growing up, I loved making videos and animations which planted the seeds of storytelling and making things look and feel “nice”.
Going to UBC, initially I wanted to be a psychologist because I was fascinated by the human behaviour and had a strong desire to help others.
Then, I discovered hackathons and ideation challenges where I had so much fun "working" with my friends to create something meaningful together.
In the hackathons, I took on the role of product designer and decided to learn more about it through the HCI courses at my university which I liked so much that I ended up TAing for.
I decided to peruse product design because it has all the things I love: creative problem solving, psychology, people, design, and impact.
